An afternoon at the theatre – Cinderella

An excellent alternative to spend a delightful Sunday afternoon is going to the theater. Yesterday I had the pleasure to watch the play Cinderella at the Teatro en Círculo. It was very nice and well put!
Juan Carlos Adames did an excellent job as director, the actors played their part flawlessly and everything ran smoothly. The dance was amazing, Yilka Arosemena did a terrific job with the choreography. And the musical arrangements of Jose “Pepe” Casis leave nothing to ask from international productions.
Analia Nuñez, Miss Panama for Miss Universe 2000, is a beautiful and sweet Cinderella who wins the hearts of children. Miguel Herrera is the handsome prince of the dreams all the maids. Jose Carranza makes us laugh in his role as king.
But my favorites were Andres Morales, hilarious in his role as Lionel, the monarchs’ assistant, and the Tremaine’s family. Fabiola Sanchez is great in the role of the Stepmother. Her impeccable voice management is demonstrated again today when she changes it depending on the emotion that she wants to portray. Definitely a villain we love to hate.
And her daughters, Drizella, played by Andrea Perez Meana, and Cristina Contreras, in the role of Anastasia, always in character, making us laugh.
It will be in theaters until August 26. Do not miss it.
